Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Valid Arizona Teaching Certification (or ability to obtain)
Teaching Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction across four class blocks
- Design and implement differentiated lessons that support all learners
- Establish a structured, positive classroom environment that promotes achievement and safety
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Use data and assessment to inform instruction and support student growth
- Collaborate with staff to contribute to a strong professional learning community
Athletic Program Responsibilities
- Coordinate middle and high school athletic programs and seasonal activities
- Support the supervision and evaluation process for coaches, including input on hiring and professional development
- Ensure compliance with AIA regulations, district policies, and student eligibility requirements
- Coordinate athletic schedules, transportation, officials, and facility use
- Manage athletic budgets, purchasing, and inventory of equipment and uniforms
- Promote sportsmanship, student-athlete well-being, and academic accountability
- Collaborate with counselors, teachers, and administration to monitor academic eligibility
- Organize and support home athletic events, including safety protocols and game operations
- Maintain communication with families and community partners to support athletic programs
- Assist with coverage of athletic events and after-school activities
- Coordinate communication for athletic programs, including schedules, updates, and recognition of student achievements
