Director of Instruction and Curriculum

 

Position Summary:

This position is designed to support ongoing professional learning for all teachers and support staff. Key to this effort is the continuous coaching and feedback offered in unison with non-evaluative classroom observations. These supports are intentionally focused on increasing teachers’ content knowledge and practices with a goal of improving student achievement. Additionally, the incumbent will share responsibility with site and district administration to ensure that the district-approved curriculum is implemented with fidelity, aligns with state standards, possesses the appropriate level of rigor and support, and falls within the zone of proximal development for all students.
