Student Wellness Coordinator

 

Position Summary:

The Student Wellness Coordinator provides leadership and direct support for student wellness, discipline, behavior, attendance, and social-emotional development at West Sedona Elementary School. This position is designed to ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment by integrating counseling services, student discipline, proactive behavior supports, and school climate initiatives with the ultimate goal of improving student outcomes and experiences.

The Student Wellness Coordinator serves as a key member of the school leadership team, working collaboratively with the principal, teachers, families, and community partners to address student needs through restorative, developmentally appropriate, and data-informed practices. This role emphasizes prevention, early intervention, relationship-building, and consistent implementation of student discipline and wellness systems.

 

Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the Principal, West Sedona Elementary School.
