Job Description: Middle School Guidance Counselor 

 

Requirements:

AZ Guidance Counselor Certification

Valid AZ Fingerprint Card

 

Experience to include:

• Master Scheduling - Knowledge of Powerschool software a plus
• AP scheduling, testing and coordination
• Coaching students on college and career readiness
• Direct support service to individual students, small groups, and classrooms
• Refer students and their parents to community agencies, programs or specialists when appropriate
• Provide student supervision to promote a safe school environment
• Work in conjunction with Administration on antibullying, antidrug and coping skills initiatives
• Student Enrollment support including hospitality to families, giving tours, scheduling of students and promoting participation in extracurricular school activities
• Other duties as assigned
